Paul Dawkins

Paul Dawkins has been an Executive Director and Co-Founder of NYSoM Group since 2009.  He is currently the head of NYSoM Group’s operations in community engagement, staffing, and event production.  He has been pivotal in establishing the current operational infrastructure that allows NYSoM Group to positively affect the NYC community in a consistent basis.  Mr. Dawkins has a Financial & Accounting professional background as well.  He graduated from Pace University in 2004, and has been a Financial Analyst for companies such as Hachette Filipachi Media & Daniel J. Edelman.  Mr. Dawkins has been employed by CBS Corporation since 2008.

Mr. Dawkins background was a motivating factor for starting NYSoM Group.  He grew up in Queensbridge Housing Projects in Long Island City, NY, and has firsthand experience with poverty related issues.  His goal is to build NYSoM Group into a sustainable multi-service organization that will improves the quality of life for all that it serves.

Abdul Koroma

Abdul Koroma has been an Executive Director and Co-Founder of NYSoM Group since 2009.  He is currently the head of NYSoM Group’s Non-Profit development and financial programs.  He’s played vital roles in cultivating Non-Profit partnerships, working with department leads & organization leadership in progressing/maintaining organization infrastructure, and managing the organizations resources and finances.  Mr. Koroma has a Marketing & Business background as well.  He graduated from Seton Hall University in 2006, and has been a Research/Reporting Analyst for companies such as Kantar Health, Harris Interactive, and Health Strategies Group.  Mr. Koroma has been employed by Suburban Propane since 2020.

Mr. Koroma’s background was a motivating factor for starting NYSoM Group along with Mr. Dawkins.  He grew up in the Bergen Hill section of Jersey City, NJ.  Although he grew up in a working middle-class home, he was surrounded by a poverty stricken area that affected many around him.  Along with Mr. Dawkins and the organization as a whole, his goal is to build NYSoM Group into a sustainable multi-service organization that will improves the quality of life for all that it serves.

Kimberly Kinnard

Kimberly Kinnard leads the philanthropic activates with NYSOM that allow hundreds of caring New Yorkers to volunteer their time with amazing programs in New York City. Kimberly got her start working with NYSoM in 2009 by volunteering at the Covenant House which provides food, shelter, immediate crisis care, and essential services to homeless, throwaway, and trafficked kids. Before joining NYSoM Kimberly was working for many years with another New York volunteer organization leading monthly events at Klingenstein Clinical Center at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

She graduated from Iona College located in New Rochelle, New York with a B.B.A majoring in Business Management.  In her free time Kimberly enjoys traveling. Kimberly’s love of travel and interest in other cultures had driven her across the world. This has also allowed her to bring back knowledge and skills that impact her outreach programs with NYSoM.
